My new novel, Lygarinn, got covered in the literature radio show, Skorningar, last night, along with Arnaldur Indriðason's new novel, Einvígið. The reason being that they both deal with the Chess Championship in Reykjavík 1972 between Boris Spassky and Bobby Fischer. The role of the crime novel in modern literature was also considered.
The coverage was very positive, saying: "Both books are very worthy candidates this Christmas for admires of crime thrillers."
