French Deal and a New Book

I'm in an interview today in Fréttablaðið about a French book deal I just made, and my upcoming novel, which will be published in October.

The French publication house Editions Prisma has bought the publication rights for Sun Cross, and plans to publish it March next year, around the same time of the Book Fair in Paris. Editions Prisma belongs to Prisma Media, France second largest publisher of magazines. Here's their website. They publish many of France's most popular magazines and last year alone sold over 220 million copies. Prisma Media is owned by the multinational media company Bertelsmann.

Next October my seventh novel will be published. It's called Spor skugganna in Icelandic, which roughly translates as The Footprints of the Shadows. It's a ghost story with thriller elements about a young woman that has lost her son. Everyone believes he's dead, except her. When she starts receiving strange clues about her son's whereabouts, she no longer feels sure if she's on his trail, or if she's losing her mind.
