Literature Prize


Blóð hraustra manna won a literature prize in Iceland! It's called "Tindabikkjan" and is for the best crime novel in Iceland in the year 2013, awarded by the Crime Literature Organization in the western fjords of Iceland (Glæpafélag Vestfjarða in Icelandic). Blóð hraustra manna was chosen over books by writers such as Arnaldur Indriðason and Yrsa Sigurðardóttir.

Here's a link to a short Icelandic article about it. The picture above is of the award. I also got two kilos of frozen ray fish, which is a traditional food in that area of Iceland. I'm very happy and honored.
